Hi! I’m John. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at the age of 11. It was difficult for me to study, and to learn from the classes I took, until I received the help I needed. Teachers and staff were doubtful about my ability to pursue college after high school. With self-motivation, goal setting, and the right support group though, I went to college!
I was even in college athletics , I graduated from college in 2010, and I am here to tell anyone on the autism spectrum that higher education after high school is a possibility for anyone who has the right attitude and is willing to work hard to be successful.
